ICON5 in New York City

Wow, where to begin...
The Illustration Conference this year was an absolutely amazing experience for me that I am so happy to have been invited to be a part of. Over the holiday week, I spent my time surrounded by great illustrators, the big apple itself, and some truly wonderful people.

Working hard at the ICON bookstore, where I spent most of the week.
Enjoying some NY pizza at Lambardi's on the 4th of July.
The CCS group in the big city!

Snagging some sight seeing in Time Square.

All of us at the last hoorah at ICON, with Edel Rodriguez...(what a dancer!)

Basically it was a blast; extremely exhausting, but a tremendously great time.
This is sadly my last week of summer in the mitten I do believe. I am off to the outer banks of North Carolina until the end of august if not for longer. This summer has been so hectic and chaotic but so refreshing and perfect. Art is on the way I promise! More updates soon!

How in God's name did we survive that week in New York City?? That was one huge silly blur. It seems so long ago and yet I'm still bearing some of those scars. You guys were amazing. You busted butt and were the hardest working bunch of folks that week without a doubt.

We couldn't be more proud of you.

ICON6 Bookstore perhaps??
