I am planning on participating if all goes well,..here are some of my ideas for my bra design and the process.
Well, I wanted a pink bra..and tried to be crafty and dye it..
My idea basically was to showcase woman throughout history who have endured and faced great challenges in their lifetime. I am kind of concerned as to whether that translates, I don't want people thinking Anne Frank or Frida Kahlo had breast cancer...
Even though the bra was soggy all day because of the rain, it did work to my advantage. I used some of my old watercolor pencils and drew directly on the surface with the dampness allowing it to smoothly spread and shade.
I am hoping to get this done before the deadline but we will see. Sparkles and sequins are definitly being called for though.

Also, I am still working on getting photos together from the summer...out here in the sticks we do not have fancy cable internet. It poses uploading issues. Annnd more work coming soon, promise :)

That first photo is pretty dramatic.
I never knew soggy bras were such a forgiving medium. And don't worry about a mistranslation, I think widespread knowledge about Anne Frank's fate will keep people from reading it the wrong way.
