Kaylen was born in 1986, and grew up near the east coast of Michigan on a cattle farm. She studied painting and design at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit where she earned a BFA in 2008. Kaylen is continually influenced by her surrounding rural landscapes, and the language of human kind. She currently resides within the still of her country solace cradled by Lake Huron.
